01Overview

Forge acquires and partners with established residential roofing companies. The Site is used primarily to share information about Forge and to collect partnership applications from roofing business owners who want to explore working with us. This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Site and through your direct interactions with our team. It does not apply to the separate privacy practices of any third party, including any company we partner with or acquire, which maintain their own policies.

02Information We Collect

Information You Provide to Us

When you submit a partnership application or otherwise contact us, we collect the information you choose to give us. This typically includes your name, email address, phone number, company name, company website, the state or primary market you operate in, your approximate annual revenue, your revenue growth, your years in business, your roofing focus, the type of partnership you are exploring, and any message or additional details you provide. We also collect a record of your consent, the source of your submission, the date and time of submission, and the page from which you submitted.

Information We Collect Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information about your device and your activity. This may include your IP address, browser type and settings, device type, operating system, referring and exit pages, the pages and links you interact with, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this information using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, as described in Section 5.

Information From Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third parties, including analytics providers, advertising partners, and platforms that help us measure and attribute the performance of our marketing. We may also receive information when someone refers you to us or when you interact with our content on third-party platforms.

• To review and evaluate your partnership application and determine whether there is a potential fit.
• To contact you about your application, schedule and conduct calls, and respond to your questions.
• To communicate with you about Forge, including updates, opportunities, and information we believe may interest you.
• To operate, maintain, improve, and secure the Site and our services.
• To measure and analyze the performance of our marketing and the Site, and to understand how visitors use our pages.
• To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity.
• To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes, and to enforce our agreements and protect our rights.

04Legal Bases for Processing

Where required by law, we process your information on one or more of the following legal bases: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time; the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract; our legitimate interests in operating and growing our business, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights; and compliance with our legal obligations.

05Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies, such as pixels and tags, to operate the Site, remember your preferences, understand how the Site is used, and measure and improve our marketing. Some of these technologies are placed by us, and some are placed by our service providers and advertising partners.

07Marketing, Calls, and Your Choices

By providing your contact information and consenting through our forms, you agree that Forge and its representatives may contact you by email, phone call, and text message at the contact details you provide, including through automated technology where permitted. Consent to receive marketing calls or texts is not a condition of any partnership.

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in those emails. You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You can ask us to stop calling you for marketing purposes by contacting us using the details in Section 16. Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send you non-marketing messages, such as messages about your application, a scheduled call, or our legal obligations. Message and data rates may apply.

08Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to evaluate and pursue a potential partnership, to maintain our business records, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete it or to de-identify it.

09Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your own account credentials and devices secure.

10Your Privacy Rights

California Residents

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, provides you with certain rights regarding your personal information. Subject to legal limits, you may have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it; the right to request deletion of your personal information; the right to correct inaccurate personal information; and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information and of certain targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Residents of Other States

The specific rights available to you depend on your state of residence and applicable law.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 16. We will verify your request before acting on it, and we may need to confirm your identity. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf where permitted by law. If we deny your request, you may have the right to appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond as required by applicable law.

11Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. Where required by law, we will honor recognized opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for the browser or device that sends the signal.

12Third-Party Websites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services that we do not own or control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

13Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps to delete it.

14Users Outside the United States

Forge is based in the United States, and we operate the Site from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer and processing.

15Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you where required by law. Your continued use of the Site after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
